The story of the banana republics, the United Fruit company, or the CIA intervention of the 40s and 50s are virtually impossible stories to tell correctly. They are simply too big and complicated. Mixing them together as I've done here means leaving out a vast majority of the story. A thousand unmentioned thoughts. I think, maybe, with around 3 hours or so you could start to get a basic handle on it, but I've done my best with twenty minutes. Hopefully it helps to at least start painting the picture.

This video is about Hardy's Paradox, wherein an electron and positron (or photons polarized horizontally and vertically) pass through Mach-Zehnder interferometers that overlap such that the particles have a chance of annihilating. If they do annihilate, then the interference pattern changes and there is a probability for both particles to be detected in the "dark arms" of the detector, that is, where previously there was no probability for detection for either particle. The paradox has implications for local realism, contextuality, lorentz elements of reality, and has been used as an experimental setup for weak measurements.

In the past, monogamy used to mean one marriage

till death do us part but we currently understand it

to mean engaging in one relationship at a time.

that despite most of Western society practicing monogamy,

lots of contemporary philosophers actually dig polyamory.

Two of the greatest philosophers of the 20th century

and total power couple, Simone De Beauvoir

and Jean-Paul Sartre were making the case

for consensual polyamory almost a century ago.

De Beauvoir was a pioneer of second wave feminism

as the father of 20th century existentialism.

Simone and Jean-Paul met in Paris in 1929

of what might be called a 50 year soul partnership
